What is Choc Lit? Is it just the name of a publisher?

I thought it simply meant a book with a sugary plot (literally and figuratively).

Do you get a free bar of chocolate with them? If so, I'm in :o :o

We have a local writer who publishes under Choc Lit (if I understand correctly it's the name of the publisher), I think it's romantic fiction aimed at getting home, snuggling up with a bar of chocolate and a drink and losing yourself in a good book. When she did a book signing at our local Waterstones you did get a bar of chocolate if you bought one Duchess but I don't think it happens every time.

"romantic fiction aimed at getting home, snuggling up with a bar of chocolate and a drink and losing yourself in a good book"

As opposed to romance books with which one can't snuggle under a blanket with choc & a drink?

I thought it was books that actually featured chocolate or were set in a chocolate shop or whatnot...??
