Is The Secret Garden author's adult fiction worth a read?

I heard a radio programme about Frances Burnett, author of The Secret Garden yesterday, and had no idea she had been such a prolific writer. I was captivated by The Secret Garden when I was a girl and wondered if anyone had read any of her adult fiction. If so, is it worth a go?

I read one of her adult books and just loved it. The Making of a Marchioness it was called.
