Following on from MaidOfStars recommendation of On The Map in an earlier thread, I really feel like reading some good non-fiction. Can anyone suggest books which cover any topic at that kind of 'fun facts' level? I'll throw in Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything, which does have a few errors but was very enjoyable...
