Never heard of this author before ... looks good storyline ... love books like this. now time to google the author and see what other books she has available!

I've read this book already on my Kindle, having read Hilary's other books. It is most disappointing. Normally her stories involve strong women overcoming adversity but in this case she hasn't researched the situation she writes about at all accurately.

Knowing a number of women who suffered the shock that Jo does in the novel I can say that her reactions and actions are unbelievable and the ending is ridiculous. Great shame as it was an opportunity missed to illustrate that a women does not need a man to survive.
