I have a copy waiting in my huge pile. No spoilers please, not without warning please. Smile It does look good.

Boysclothes · 09/10/2014 22:11

I have to say I thought it was dreadful. Totally unbelievable. I guffawed at how stupid the end was. As bloody if!!!

BasketzatDawn · 09/10/2014 23:06

Okay, so even if I find it rubbish I'll need to read to the end/read the ending. Grin

MrsDavidBowie · 10/10/2014 07:25

Finished it last night. Ending very far fetched.

I read it last week. I thought it was pretty good but the ending was ridiculous!

comfycushion · 10/10/2014 17:30

Cantdothisagain · 10/10/2014 19:09

StillWearingOddSocks · 10/10/2014 20:42

Rubbish! The ending is bloody stupid.

Liveforthemoment · 10/10/2014 21:10

Read it, enjoyed it but the ending was v disappointing and unbelievable.

Tanaqui · 10/10/2014 21:23

I read the beginning on a kindle sample and decided it wasn't for me- but please would someone pm me the ending? Can't find it even though I am googling and now it is an awful itch!

Nerf · 10/10/2014 21:27

Tana have messaged you

Jjcrackers · 10/10/2014 21:32

Read it. Thought it was ok in parts but really unbelievable in parts (all I will say policeman AND neighbour's son? Seriously?)

Tanaqui · 10/10/2014 21:35

Thank you nerf!!! think am glad I didn't buy it :)

webwiz · 10/10/2014 21:44

I read this from start to finish on a flight, it was an interesting diversion but the ending must be one of the most ridiculous I've read in a long time!

TsukuruTazaki · 11/10/2014 00:47

I enjoyed it but it did go down hill a bit towards the end and it was not very believable.

The mum was so naive!

Nerf · 11/10/2014 06:14

Grin Yes you saved yourself a few quid! Was one of those irritating 'worthy' books

justinhawkinsnavalfluff · 30/11/2014 08:49

Please don't bother reading this absolute nonsense unless you want to feel guilty about being a working mother or particularly dislike travellers! What a load of rubbish!

EnlightenedOwl · 30/11/2014 08:53

Very good but odd ending.

I feel like i have just wasted my weekend reading this book. The story is too far fetched and there was no real depth as to why her two children disregarded.

Ludways · 01/03/2015 01:04

I'm about a quarter of the way through but have my reservations, I came on MN to see if anyone was as annoyed about it as me. Seems so, I might skim read it till the end, I'm now intrigued about, lol

Providore · 01/03/2015 02:18

Found it quite compelling to read but the ending???? Weird! Totally unjustified.

hackmum · 01/03/2015 09:46

I enjoyed it but also found the ending a bit unlikely. But I almost always find that with these kinds of psychological thrillers.
