I would love to think I was like Lizzie too but fear I am far more Lydia . Single but my ex was Wickham, feckless, in debt and loved spending other people's money.

Probably Emma. Or Mary. Or someone prone to giving lots of advice, not all of it necessarily good.

I'm probably most like Anne Elliot - too cautious and dutiful. But luckily my DH is most like Captain Wentworth - loyal and constant.

Ten years ago I would have said Elizabeth, but I've become more subdued and cautious and less witty so identify more with Anne at the moment. DH, Bingley.

Emma, sadly minus the good looks and the private income. Not sure anyone would compare DH to Knightley though!

In my youth I was probably like Catherine Morland, And I like(d) reading Anne Radcliffe's novels too!

I am prone to fits of the Marianne Dashwoods at times, and can have a waspish Mary Crawford side at my worst, but I like to think I'm more Elizabeth overall. :)

Dp is Captain Wentworth - dashingly attractive but prone to sulking (and flirting!).

Have you heard of The Austen Project? They're getting six authors to "re-imagine" six JA novels. I can't wait to read Northanger Abbey by Val McDermid!

Yes, agree Colonel Brandon. Possibly Edward actually, he was always about 'doing the right thing', that could possibly extend to ironing your frocks.

Think I'm probably Elinor Dashwood, but would love to be Lizzy. DH is George Knightly but without the cash! MIL is Miss Bates as she witters on repeating herself endlessly - that was no criticism, I don't want you to think I'm actually Emma!!!
