I read 'I Choose To Live' by Sabine Dardenne (I may have spelt her surname incorrectly). In 2 evenings on holiday - in the tent!

Its a true account of what happened when she was kidnapped, moving but powerful and author incredibly brave and strong.

Have you ever read Grumpy Old Women (from the tv show?). It'll have you bent double with laughter.

The Rise And Fall Of A Yummy Mummy is fabulous, funny, moving, proper holiday reading.

Have you ever read any of Anita Shreve's novels?

There are quite a few to chose from! I've just picked up Light On Snow and The Pilot's Wife.

here's a review of the former

Enjoy your holiday!

See if your library has any anthologies of short stories in the style you like. Sometimes makes a nice change from a full novel
