As there seem to be a lot of kindle people about this afternoon I was wondering if any of you use calibre to get free books & how easy it is to use?

I am not good with tecchy stuff & would like to know how you have got on with this.

I use and found it quite straightforward. It will detect your Kindle if plugged in and will convert books into the Kindle format.

So do you need to download the calibre proram to your computer?

Does it take you to the book you may want?

I assume you have your kindle plugged in to your computer?

I am useless at this sort of thing!

Download it, install it. Tell it where to look for the books you have on your PC and it will build your library. Plug your Kindle in. Select a book and right click, choose send to device. It'll transfer the book to your Kindle. I found it intuitive.
