Recent John Irving, any good?

Found my old copy of Owen Meany today and it reminded me how much I used to love John Irving: Hotel New Hampshire, Cider House Rules.

Has anyone read any of his more recent novels?

I think the later ones could do with a bit of a chop. There is some good writing but a lot that could be cut. I imagine that he is too "big" to be told that!
