Can you suggest a good book about working with young people?

About to leave work and would like to give a nice/ useful leaving gift.

We work with young people about their social/emotional development. Many young people have additional needs.

Looking for recommendations for a book about working with young people - theories, suggestions for activities or something inspiring.

Any ideas?

It's difficult to choose one to recommend to you without knowing what kind of service you work in, but this is a fantastic book that I think just about anyone working with children would find useful. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that. We provide 1-2-1 support using education and counselling skills. Mainly teenagers but also young adults. So it's a trerapuetic intervention using lots of creative tools.

I'll check out the book!

Look at books by Tina Bruce or penny tassoni they're both brilliant in this field xxx
