Has anyone run a reading group for teens? Or knows about them?

Next week we're launching two new reading groups at school. "We" being me and an English teacher. She is very experienced and will keep me straight I'm sure. But I'd love to hear any advice and ideas that anyone might have.

Group1 is primarily yr7s (11 yr-olds, but we may have some yr9s & 11s 'helping').
Group2 is primarily yr8s (12 yr-olds, with some yr10s helping).

[The odd mix of ages is because of our odd lunch-sitting arrangements]

Can recommend books that generally go down well with teenagers if you'd like?

I have a pretty good grasp of teenage fiction janeite, but if you have time to type out a list: I'm always interested to learn more!

can I hijack and ask for some good suggestions for dd who is an avid reader .She's 14 ,not that fusssy but hates fantasy and sci-fi.She reads quite a few of my cast offs if I deem them suitable.
I would love a few to get out of the library for her.TIA
