As both mum and I have worked our way thought the entire series can anyone recommend an author whose books are very similar?

Have you read Peter James DI Grace series?

Read any Val McDermid ? The one with the crime psychologis.
t are good (if gory)

The ones by JK Rowling under the name of Robert Galbraith are good.

Susan Hill does a crime range that's ok.

I am also a Val McDermid fan. Peter Robinson is also good.

Although gory there is also Tess Gerritsen and Kathy Reichs
