I liked it. I didn't find it particularly thought-provoking, but it has made my bookshelf as opposed to being passed on to a friend after I finished. I think you'll enjoy it!

I love books set in Afghanistan. The previous poster is right it is not particularly thought provoking it is however a good read similar in style to Maeve Binchy.

I thought it was total rubbish I'm afraid and I do like a bit of chick lit. Marian Keyes, Jane Green, Adele Parkes, Katie Fforde all wrote much better books imo than the little bookshop of kabul.

I am just over half way through - it is "okay". A quick read but a bit light and "Chic lit" for me.
I will perserve though as I am enjoying the story Smile
