I'm I the only one who impulse buys books after a couple of glasses of vino?

LOL can you really knit an orgasm???

True, southeastastra, much better than the £60 daft skirt I bought when stressed out about visiting my inlaws.

They were two books I have had on my Amazon wishlist for ages so hopefully good buys. House by Julie Myreson and Dress you Family in Cordouroy (or something like that)... buuuut that doesn't make it any better because I have about forty books in my to be read pile, many of them bought under the same circumstances.

STOP!!!

Or get on to the US site where the books often work out cheaper (even with postage) .

MrsSpoon · 17/08/2006 23:30

Do they lionheart??? Don't send me back to Amazon tonight!!!! Arrrrgh!!!!!

Yep, they do. And sometimes you even get it more quickly than if you buy it here.

lionheart · 17/08/2006 23:46

plus, if it's an expensive book it's always worth checkin on the US site.

(I'm not exactly helping here, am I?)

mummycan · 17/08/2006 23:47

If they haven't been despatched yet you can always cancel

lionheart · 17/08/2006 23:54

MrsSpoon, you've gone suspiciously quiet. Goodnight.

MrsSpoon · 17/08/2006 23:55

Ooops, sorry, still here. I checked the book I bought on the .com site and it was loads cheaper on the .co.uk so no problem there but will keep it in mind for next time.
