I'm wondering if any of you literary types can help me out?

DD is sixteen shortly and I want to make it special - and am thinking of some kind of quote or poem to put in her card. She's just a lovely girl and I know teenage years are tough and she's had her ups and downs but she's just such a pleasure to me and I'm so proud of how she's growing up. And Id like to find a way to tell her that.

Any ideas?

Is there maybe a poem about coming of age? Or a quote about a parent's love for a child? I'm sure there's something out there!

Caitlin Moran wrote some wonderful advice to her daughter recently. It's article length I think but it really was lovely.

That's brilliant, thank you. Brings a tear to the eye!
