last summer i read 2 jenny eclair novels, and found them to be a hilarious, crude, gritty, honest - if cynical 'comment' on family life. has anyone read anything in a similar vein , as i'm at a loss about what to read on my holidy. TIA

easy reading suggestions, only please!

um I can't quite remember
Foetal Attraction was one about a pregnant woman that I did read. definitely funny but crude and honest.

I just found them similar in tone to Jenny Eclair's. Offhand I can't think of any other books that are like hers
