Authors like Gillian Flynn?

Hi all

I have just finished Dark Places and thought it was terrific. Has anyone got any similar authors they could recommend? I have dabbled with Sophie Hannah (not liked her stuff), Nikki French (done all of them), Harlen Coben, etc. Cheers

Erin Kelly perhaps?

I second Lisa Gardner.

Have you read the other Gillian Flynn books...Sharp Objects and Gone Girl?

normalishdude · 14/01/2014 16:20

Yes, done all of the GF ones now- I will check out the other authors mentioned. Penny Hancock rings a bell. I may have read her already. Cheers all!

Sleep with me by Joanna Briscoe was excellent and in similar territory.

Definitely Erin Kelly. If you want something a bit more 'vintage' but in the same psychological thriller vein, try Barbara Vine (Ruth Rendell's alter ego).

Dark Places is superb, isn't it? I loved Gone Girl, but I think Dark Places is actually better.
