I loved all her Jackson Brodie books but finding it hard to take all the repetition in this. is it worth carrying on from page 153?

I'm on page 419, and would say it's definitely worth continuing! I think it's a wonderful book.

I'm going to be reading it this year. Love Kate Atkinson's novels. Would recommend Behind The Scenes At The Museum which is an excellent read, if you haven't already read it.

I loved this book so would definitely persevere

I loved her previous books but thought this one was absolutely awful.

I finished it but if I could have my time again I wouldn't.

Interesting concept very badly executed IMHO.

I agree with itchy beaver

Didn't get all the raving abou this book. I love Kate Atkinson but it's by far her worst. Repetition did get wearing.

Thanks everyone. I might read something else and then try going back to it.

I loved it. Her best and funniest is Emotionally Weird, possibly because I was at a Scottish university (although not Dundee) in the 70s and it was a painful and hilariously accurate description.

I put it down halfway through. Loved the Jackson Brodie books too Smile.
