Has anyone else read it? I was so disappointed. I thought it was going to be a rip-roaring, page-turning read, but I was completely confused: so many characters, such a complicated plot. She does helpfully give a summary at the half way point of what's happened so far, but I got lost again shortly afterwards. I don't want to give the impression that it was all bad - I enjoyed bits of it, but I had the strong feeling that I'd be enjoying it more if I understood what was going on.
Perhaps I'm getting stupider as I get older - I didn't follow any of the plot of Doctor Who on Christmas Day either, but at least that only lasted an hour.
