I need to talk to my dd about emotions, feelings and ways of dealing with them, since i'm not very good in this department.

Any suggestions on some books i can get? i've seen some books by Hodder publishers, but really dont want to be spending 'that' much money ...

any suggestions would be great. thank u

Hi ya Blossom2

Depending on the emotions you are trying to convey, Usborne books do a range with the titles, Give that back Jack, Don't be a bully Billy & Don't tell lies Lucy all subtitled a cautionary tale. I've used them to good effect with my 4 year old.

Usborne are normally pretty good with things like that or you could try the Book People as they have lots of books along those lines too for all ages and they are all quite a bit cheaper.

Hope that helps Beksmum

I have found the non-fiction section of local libraries have a good variety of books on feelings. And it costs nothing.

Blossom, don't know the age of your child but one called Something Else is just beautiful about feeling like an insider and trying to make friends. It's a picture book for little ones 3-5, I'd say.
