Anyone read The Silent Wife?

Very unpleasant characters but I am enjoying it.

No, but I've requested it from the library. Glad to hear it's a good read.

I was disappointed. Probably because I'd read so many people raving about it but I just thought it was fairly banal. It's well-written and the characters are well-developed but it's a crime novel with no mystery. I wouldn't slate it but I wouldn't feel compelled to recommend it either.
