my mum likes these authors and has all their books , and would like a new book for Christmas
does anyone have any suggestions,of similar authors?

Your mum might enjoy East of the Sun by Julia Gregson, or Secret River by Kate Grenville.

Your mum might like Linda Gillard who writes in a similar style. The Glass Guardian is so original and very memorable. Supernatural, romantic and bit of history. I discovered her on kindle and she is very readable.

Also Susanna Kearsley is a similar author. Mariana is excellent.
