I'm not a reader.

But I've just devoured 6 Joanne Harris novels in the last 6 months (struggled a little with Coastliners).

So time to buy a new book....

Try Anne Tyler - any of hers are worth a read. Or Tracy Chevalier.

I second Tracy Chevalier and Anne Tyler. It might be worth having a look at Philippa Gregory too.
