Books of a similar theme to William Boyd - Restless

I loved this book and have recommended it to many people. Are there any other books of a similar theme that you can recommend? Thanks.

No worries, thanks HY. I read Ordinary Thunderstorms but was rather disappointed. I am definitely after a theme similar to Restless.

You could try Charlotte Gray by Sebastian Faulkes, Jackdaws by Ken Follett and Enigma by Robert Harris if you're looking for a WWII spy theme.

As far as I can recall, they don't contain the time-shift element .. but that wasn't the aspect of Restless that I most enjoyed - I found the story set in the past much more absorbing.
