Holiday reads - what will you be taking?

My pile of "to read" books has reached 2, neither of which inspire me.
I haven't read a newspaper book review column in ages.
Have no inspiration for holiday at all.
Only dislike horror books, not keen on Mills and Boon either

Thats inspire/inspiration too many times but you get the picture

Try Joanne Harris' Gentlemen and players.
Review with lots of +ve feedback on book section.
Excellant thriller with plenty of wit and wry obs.

Haven't read any Joanne Harris though I know my mum has. May borrow off her.

Have just bought "December Wedding" by Anita Shreve. It was £3 something in Asda. It looks good
