What is the name of this book please - travel/gap year themed?

I read it when I was travelling, it was v funny. It is a parody of the whole "finding yourself" while travelling thing. The cover possibly had a picture of a Hindu god/goddess on it, and the author's name was William something?? Maybe!

Thanks for mentioning this .. have just bought it for my son who's travelling abroad at the moment.

Another funny, similarly-themed book is "Don't Tell Mum", a collection of real emails sent home by gap-year teenagers. Particularly resonant for the mums of such people Smile
