Hi. Can anyone help me find a book. I read it in the early nineties pretty sure it was classed as young adult, it was set in mary hill in Glasgow and about life during the Second World War. I'm sure it was call " I think I hear a/my baby crying" it's driving me mad. I would love reread it but can't find a trace of it anywhere

There's a book called "I can hear my baby crying" by J. Mamon? Not read it myself but could that be it?

Could it be "A baby might be crying" by Margaret Thomson Davis? Sounds similar.
