I've just finished Killed at the Whim of a Hat which I really enjoyed. It's £1.03 on Kindle at the moment, as is the 2nd in the series too. It's a crime book set in Thailand in the same vein as No1 Ladies Detective Agency and has a very likeable narrator.
I've just downloaded Mrs Appleby's Academy which is set in the 1900s in the North East. It's 46p but I haven't read it yet. It has good reviews though.
