I quite enjoyed reading this as a 'quick read' holiday kind of book. Quite well written & not too formulaic. Two narrative perspectives made it quite interesting, and althoughit's a 'who dunnit', it doesn't have any of those really annoying, cleverly hidden clues - it's more about telling a story well than trying to make the plot twist & turn.

Really enjoyed this - mainly as I live in the area it's set in, so loads of homey references. Also, I am quietly partial to a good crime novel (Colin Dexter, Reginald Hill, Ruth Rendall etc). Agreed it's a good yarn, well told.

I really enjoyed this too, you're right kaa, it is a good bit of story telling, and I really enjoyed the switch between the narrative.

Was a bit disapointed by the ending, as I felt it wasn't 'finished', particulary the relationship between Annie and Banks.
