Kate Grenville - The Secret River - part of series?

A little while ago I got this on my kindle, but have only read the 1st couple of chapters so far. (Because I have loads queueing up to be read!) Seems good though. Then I also bought 'Sarah Thornhill' which I thought was a sequel to it. Now in the summer sale Amazon are offering 'The Lieutenant', and I have an idea that that is 3rd in the sequence, but I am not quite sure if that's true, or if it's unconnected?

Does anyone know? I can't seem to find out from the Amazon descriptions and reviews. And if they are a serial are there any more?

Secret River is really good, I agree. Sarah Thornhill follows on from SR, being the story of the couple's daughter.

The Lieutenant is a stand-alone novel, although many of the themes in Secret River do reappear.

AFAIK there hasn't been a third book in the series, although I have a feeling that I read somewhere that there may be one planned.

I can't do links, but if you google the book titles, and read the Guardian reviews, they explain all this pretty clearly. They do give away a lot of the plot though, which you might not want at this point.

Incidentally, The Idea of Perfection by the same author is a quirky love story between two awkward middle aged people - I recommend it.
