Any of her fans out there ? Loved 'Tully' and 'The Girl in Times Square' but seem to be the only one that couldn't get into 'The Bronze Horseman' trilogy.

Oh wow. If you didn't stay up til all hours reading The Bronze Horseman then you missed out!

I see her latest one is a prequel to The Bronze Horseman, so I hope for your sake she stops dipping into that well and writes something else soon!

I felt The Bronze Horseman should have been much better than it was iykwim. The plot, the setting, the historical background were all very interesting, but the quality of the writing let everything else down. I persevered to the end but not going to bother to read the sequel for that reason.

I enjoyed The Bronze Horseman, I have the second one to read but haven't got round to it yet. It was recommended by a friend, had never heard of her before.

I loved the Bronze Horseman too and recommended it everywhere! I think I got the recommendation from here originally...I haven't read the others yet though
