Just be sure to have some tissues handy at the end - it is heartbreaking.

I found it a tad disappointing. Nowhere near as hard hitting as The Kiterunner or A Thousand Splendid Suns. The ending did have me in tears though.

I recently bought The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell for £1.39, and Sea of Poppies by Amitav Gosh for £1.99 in the Kindle sale.

Also Iris and Ruby by Rosie Thomas for £1.99. She's one of the few authors who write "women's books" that I really like.
