What's the rule if we don't like a book, do we have to finish it anyway out of a sense of duty, or can we get a note from our mums?

I think we ahve to try and finish really but if it's so crap in your opinion, you could get a review off amazon and lie

Filly, just get everyone to email you their rl addys, when you have your list, try to map out where people are and create some sort of postal circle so scotland isn't sending to cornwall etc. I forgot to do this on our one and realised afterwards. Send the list of addys to everyone on your list. And every one posts to the address underneath theirs apart from the bottom person who posts to the top person.

I think there'll definitely need to be a second book swapping circle to accomodate all the newies, don't you think? Otherwise the circle is going to be huge and unmanageable.

Yes I agree it is silly to struggle on with a book if it's not doing the trick for you. It's not a bad book or anything, I just don't think I'm in the mood for it, but I have been pleased to try it. It is great to get a wide range of titles and of course I'll still put my thoughts on the review thread.
