Was reading a discussion lower down about poirot and it got me thinking. I loved the tv adaptations. I also used to watch another 20's drama called house of elliot based on 2 women creating the first ready to wear fashion. Was it based on a book does anyone know? I remember really enjoying it.

I think it was created for TV - but I'm pretty sure there were a couple of spin-off books at the time.

No it was written for TV and you can get in on DVD from Amazon. There was a book tie in I think but it was based on the series not an original work.

Ah ok. I may actually get the dvds
