I'm sure I have read this over the last few weeks but have been devouring loads of books.

Give me a clue as to what else is happening then I might know?

SKYTVADICT · 06/06/2006 16:29

Just read a review elsewhere on the www.

I did read it and enjoyed it.

FrannyandZooey · 06/06/2006 16:42

Ooh I liked this a lot. It had a joke in it making fun of where HC lives as well :o

Cappucino · 06/06/2006 16:48

I cannot stand this book

I bought it on a 3 for 2 as an experiment and the characters drive me up the bleeding wall

I read the first bit and got so cross that you could possibly want to make friends with someone just because they swopped coats with you. I ended up throwing it across the room

if someone wants to send me an SAE I'll send them it for free just to have it out of my sight

if I can find it from where I threw it

FrannyandZooey · 06/06/2006 16:49

LOL but don't fanny about Cappucino, tell us if you liked it or not

peachyClair · 06/06/2006 16:56

I almost sent this to the book club swap, just couldn't find it.

And there was a reason I oculdn't find it: was not bothered where it went as will never read again.

Don't get me wrong, its not terrible, I justs didn't engage with it at all. Lots of things almost happen; people have secrets that aren't that significant; and frankly, there's not a snog in sight Wink- well not much.

Found it generally hard going.

FrannyandZooey · 06/06/2006 16:59

It reminded me a little bit of "I Capture the Castle". I found the characters quite endearing and it was very light and easy to read.

I am so sick about books about secrets

endless books about old family secrets

you could pick up 20 today if you went into Waterstones on just a cursory sweep
