I'm reading Fahrenheit 451 and loving it.

Catching up on my Book Vipers group reads, so just finished The Color Purple today and have just started The Silver Linings Playbook!

You will love them Galaxymum, well I think so anyway , brilliant stories, keep an eye out for Kingdom of Shadows, Midnight is a lonely Place and House of Echoes.

juneybean, did you like The Colour Purple, it's a long time since I read it, must root it out again.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, it felt so real to me I was a bit shocked it was "fiction" as she really breathed life into the characters.

The Last King of Scotland. Surprisingly readable and gripping!

I'm re-reading Kane and Abel as bought today for 49p in the charity shop. I may have also accidentally ordered the DVD from Amazon...

Ye, it's a great story, it didn't make a bad movie either.

Yes, Jeffery Archer. I read another of his, can't remember which one ,and it was shockingly bad!

I've just finished to very gory thrillers (two little girls in blue and the newest Susan hill) and I wanted something light and frothy!

I'm currently reading Pear Shaped by Stella Newman. Chick lit but very amusing so far. One of the better written books from this genre. I'm reading some lightweight stuff before I tackle We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver for our Book Vipers Group over on Goodreads.

I'm totally gripped by 'Apple Tree Yard' by Louise Doughty, taut psychological thriller and really well written. Really want to find another similar book as I'm nearly finished - any recommendations?

Reading another Montalbano book, The Scent of the Night by Andrae Camilleri. Just love Montalbano

I feel a little bereft having finished my Barbara Erskine books as they were so absorbing. Just started All That I am by Anna Funder which has great reviews but hasn't grabbed me yet. I'm hanging in there.

Harvest of Time. It's a Doctor Who one, I've been looking forwards to reading it and have finally started it.

I've read them before I love Patrick Ness.
