A long story, but I'm halfway through this book and need to return it to someone who will have expected me to have finished it!

What happens at the end?

Buy it and finish it - it's too lovely not to.

I got bored of it :( I loved all the magical descriptions of the place, but the actual storyline I got bored of and I put it down a couple of months ago

I read it earlier this year, when laid up with a damaged shoulder and could only just about manage to lift a book (my excuse and I'm sticking with it :)).

I liked it, but found the ending a little disappointing. I felt the novel promised more than it really delivered. Nevertheless a good read, and I'm glad I finished it. I may re-read it one day, because the descriptions are lovely. It would make a fabulous film :)
