Written by Lawrence Osborne. Set in MoroccoBrits abroad theme, a bit similar to The Sheltering Sky. Very readable, but intelligent themes. Very atmosphericOh, the heat! Anyone else read it?

Yes! Definitely one of my top reads this year, though I can imagine it isn't for everyone. But I just loved the way it brought Morocco to life and there was that brooding and sinister feel. The heat just lifts off the pages, doesn't it? Glad to have found someone else who has read it!
