It came up on here ages ago on a thread about great books to read. The thread was for people who love classics: Austen, Dickens, Thackeray etc. And it got onto great family sages a la Forsyte Saga, A Suitable Boy etc.
Anyway, I remember thinking 'must try that one' - apparently it's a massive and intricate family saga type one. Can't remember the slightest thing about it otherwise except it had rave reviews and it might have a single word title( or am I imagining that?)
Really want to chase it down now and read it... Help!
