Just finished this..it's excellent.
About a Jewish Chicago family ...mother Edie is morbidly obese, husband leaves her. Very funny but also touching....some interesting writing techniques.
Thoroughly recommend.

Thanks for the recommendation. I read a few reviews of this when it was published and liked the look of it so I will add it to my wish list. Have you read Heft by Liz Moore? Really good book.

No..will check it out. am getting a Kindle for my birthday next week so am on the hunt for new books.
