I just bought Orkney by Amy Sackville for £1.39, which I am very excited about as it's a massive saving.

Thanks for the Amy Sackville recommendation OP. I enjoyed her first novel Still Point. Have you read it? Having been to Orkney I'm looking forward to the new book too.

No, I haven't read her first one, but I thought this one sounded very good so I will look out for Still Point now.
