Os it about an american and an irishwoman?

I thought you were talking about Katharine McMahon .. confusing! She wrote The Rose of Sebastopol which I really enjoyed. i wonder if it was a deliberate choice to have a very similar name?

It is about an american and an irishwoman. I have just now read the reviews on amazon and glad I didn't before as i would never have bought the book. I loved it and found it deeply moving, its all about living in the moment. Hope you all enjoy.

Oooh yes, love Katherine McMahon! She's written half a dozen or so novels and I've enjoyed them all. An under-appreciated author imo.

Oh no, the first press review on Amazon mentions One Day... please tell me it is better than that!

I know you said to avoid the Amazon reviews OP!

whatwoulddexterdo · 20/03/2013 14:15

Personally I think its miles better than one day.
I have to say that i normally only buy a book if the reviews are really positive. However I bought this one blind and was staggered that so many didn't enjoy it as much as me.
