Hi there, my mum is going to The States for the first time and is staying in Boston. I'd love to buy her Boston-based fiction...any recommendations?

I was going to suggest The Bostonians by Henry James. Wiki say all these novels are set in Boston, but I don't know how accurate this list is.

Linda Barnes has a crime series set in Boston - the first ones were published here years ago but may be hard to find new here - should be possible to find A Trouble of Fools secondhand.
