Have just finished maybe the best book I have ever read and i dont say that lightly . Title is The Man with the golden arm by Nelson Algren.An one else read it. love to know what you made of it.

Yes - I've read it - quite a while ago now. It's a very good book IMO,(not sure I can remember enough detail to chat very sensibly about it though! but I do remember I liked it) - was also a great film with Frank Sinatra acting his socks off in it.

Hi yes never seen the film but they are never as good as the book. And not a big sinatra fan but thats just me. Reading the next one man in boots have you read that.
