What to read next?! help please!

I'm supposed to be reading Wolf Hall next, but I don't feel quite ready!

So, my choices are:

Snow Child
Wonder
An Inspector Montalbano
Song of Achilles
The personal history of Rachel Dupree.....

Don't know what to pick!

I've read three of your list - The Snow Child, Wonder and Song of Achilles. I enjoyed all three. I'd read The Snow Child next whilst it's still winter - very atmospheric :)

I am onto the Snow Child, though only managed about 5 pages at bed time last night (more to do with tiredness and a couple of glasses of wine - no reflection on the book - I reckon I'm going to like this one!)

i know that's at odds witg the hype but i found the characters stereotypicak and the prose seemed self conscious and forced...

Loved, loved, loved Snow Child--so different.

No, don't bin Achilles :o I liked it a lot - it's good!!!

Of those, I've only read Song of Achilles. It took me a few pages to get into it, but after that I really liked it.

I've just finished Snow Child.....really good book and you just get sucked into the unfolding story, especially on a cold winter's night
