John Grisham? All legal type books. Runaway Jury springs to mind

There's a list here on Amazon, which might have some things of interest to you Smile - I've read Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow, and it's not bad.

Yeah, John Grisham is like the KING of courtroom drama books. And he's prolific, so there's loads for you to wade through.

thanks! dont know why i didnt think of him, i tend to be suspicious of authors that churn so many books out. ill have a trawl through

John Grisham is fab.

What I love about his books is that he doesn't focus on any one time period or demographic. He's written books about the deep south, the klu klux klan, civil law and criminal, corporate espionage...it's so varied and IMO his style changes according to the subject, so it feels fresh.

My favourites are The Client, The Firm and The Street Lawyer, although Time to Kill was quite harrowing too.

You're likely to find them in the charity shop for 50p/£1 - there were so many sold that they float around very cheaply 2nd hand.

The Pelican Brief and Time to Kill omnibus £1.79 with free P&P on ebay. The Pelican Brief was made into a film starring Julia Roberts.

The Client £1.96 inc. P&P

Cheap as chips Smile
