Is Jo Nesbo's Nemesis part of a series? I have it on the shelf and want to read it,

but, maybe Jo Nesbo fans could advise me, would it be crazy to read them out of order.

The redbreast is the first one, well, really The Bat is the first one, but that has only just been released. Start with the Redbreast it explains a lot.

I have read most of them and started out of sequence, didn't ruin it for me or anything but there are some ongoing storylines that were easier to understand after reading earlier books. I very much enjoyed the Harry Hole series, and can recommend HeadHunters too :)
