Ali Smith - There but for the

has anyone read this? I'm 2 thirds of the way through but am struggling. It's gone off in a different tandem and the chapters are so bloody long!
I kind of want to know why he's in that room but is it worth carrying on with?

I posted a thread about this when I was finished. I got to the end and it seemed to be the mos pointless book I have ever read.

Haven't read this one, but I read The Accidental a couple of months ago and thought it was the worse book I'd read all year, - she is not my cup of tea at all - far too self consciously 'clever'.

Give up! I read it for a book club but was soooo disappointed. Disjointed and just a waste of time imo. There are too many other books out there to waste time on it.
