i have been so busy doing the mummy thing I have forgotten about me. SO! My one new years resolution is to look after me and that includes reading again! i was a fan of Patricia Scanlan, Marian Keyes......love all those irish girlie authors. love the brit chick lit authors too.

wondered could anyone recommend a good title to wet my appetite again please.

Have you read the nanny diaries? It's one of my favourite very easy reads.

How about Maeve Binchy, Jenny Colgan, Karen Swan, JoJo Moyes, for starters? I can recommend Jojo Moyes's Me Before You - sad, but good. I've heard Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic books are a good light read too.

Was going to say Me Before You too or how about one day? If I haven't read for a while one of the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency always gets me straight back in, his Corduroy Mansions books are enjoyable too Smile

Cathy Kelly?
I love her earlier ones, but all of a sudden (I think at Past Secrets) she changed her whole style of writing and I didn't enjoy them any more.
So maybe try one of her earlier ones (I like "the one with Tara and her sisters" best I think, but they're all good) and one of the later ones (which I don't like) and see which you prefer.
