I got two books in WH Smith and they were 99p each and both were a really good read, not sure if they are the same ones.

I think I saw Anagrams by Lorrie Moore in there, that's a superb book.

their are full length books, i saw some quick reads in whsmith but the waterstones ones are different

WH smith have 99p books if you buy the Times.

We don't have a waterstones but can't afford to buy any more as my to-read -pile is so big!

Yes! Bought 5 of them! They have some really good stuff on that offer (particularly if you like crime fiction) - including a book I bought for nearly full price a few months ago on Amazon Angry

off the top of my head, the Waterstones 99p books include
1)The Monkey's Raincoat by Robert Crais
2)Death in the Central Committee by Vasquez Montalban
3)one of the Aurelio Zen series by Michael Dibdin
4)Belshazzar's Daughter by Barbara Nadel
5)Murder Suicide by Keith Ablow
6)Fear and Trembling by Amelie Nothomb
7)Three Dollars by Elliot Perlman
8)The Dark Clue by James Seiffert
9)something or other by James Lee Burke

erm erm erm there are a lot more, honest!
